If you choose not to purchase your server hosting after your 24-hour trial, we will keep your server files for seven days from your original order date. Question: What is a cluster?

Answer: An ARK cluster server is a set of ARK servers that allows you to transfer whatever you want to and from servers that are only part of your cluster. By default, people can’t move anything from any other server. They can, however, transfer whatever they want to and from servers only within your cluster servers. You can also change what they can or can not move within your cluster servers such as players, Items, Dinos, (It can be enabled to transfer to and from other servers not within your cluster if you so choose.)

Question: Do I get some kind of discount?

Answer: Yes! We offer clusters at a 20% off discounted rate for as long as you keep the server. This is a monthly discount.

Question: Can I cluster more then 2 servers? Is that supported?

Answer: Yes! We have several customers with 4,5 and six-way clusters.

Question: Do I have to use different maps?

Answer: No you do not, but most everyone does. People will sometimes use a cluster to run the same map but one is PVE, and one is PVP for example.

Question: Can I use different Mods for each server?

Answer: Yes! The servers are in a cluster, but they have all of their Mods. So if you want specific Mods on one server, you can do that!

Question: Can I use different server settings on each cluster server?

Answer: Yes! You can set everything different if you’d like such as XP, Harvesting, Gamma, whatever you want to do!

Yes! Most of our features we already have are directly from customer feed back. We will add any new functionality you need within reason. It must not conflict with our security, and it has to be something useful to anyone else also using an ARK server.

Yes, you can! At any time you want to add any extras such as CPU priority, slots, ect.. You may do so in the client area. Everything can be upgraded and downgraded anytime you like.

The truth:
Mods and settings can cause lag, but it’s not the end of the story. Some hosts will claim that this is the only thing that can cause lag. That’s not true. CPU bottlenecks can also be a significant factor. The more players on your server, the harder the CPU has to work. CPU lag from too many players can cause your ping to go high (around 100ms-250ms+). ARK’s ping is not just network related. It’s also affected by the CPU speed and workload as well!

We offer the option to choose the top of the line CPUs using the Intel Core i7 7700K & Xeon E3-1270v6. They are VERY powerful and can handle very high population servers without lag. If your server lags with 15+ players online, but it’s okay when there are 10 or less. The CPU is to blame. If your server is lagging with just one player, it’s probably mods, bugged dino spawns and settings.
